Ever have one of those weeks where you just want to make like a bee and buzz? Uh huh, that’s me this week. Not having such a good week at all. With hubby laid off work – he is home more of course and that alone drives me up the wall. Worse yet, it’s winter and I can’t send him outside to do some yardwork – to get him out of my hair either! I hope something comes up soon so that I don’t end up pummeling the guy! *lol* Of course I could just book  Maui vacation rentals and take off for a while, right? yeah , bwhahahahaaaa…I know…good one, huh? Oh, but how I wish I could, honest! Just to get away. Because Calgon just ain’t cutting it anymore!

To top my oh, so perfect week off – Brownie jumped on our sofa last night when he heard someone pull up and the whole thing just crashed! Poof – Sofa gone! Now we’re down to 2 recliners. Looks like we may have to go out and buy a cheap sofa this weekend. Luckily I have some money stashed away for this because I knew this was bound to happen. The sofa sorta fell apart when we moved in here – just the frame came apart a bit – and hubby used his nail gun to put it back together. But we both knew that it had to be replaced. Of course now is not such a good time – but then again – it always happens like this, doesn’t it? I wonder what’s next? Anywho, we have about 300$ in our “sofa fund” – we were gonna save up 700$ to get a sectional but I guess that’s not gonna happen. Oh well, we’ll see what we can get with what we have. Not picky right now. Just need something for company to be able to sit on, ‘ya know? And I swear – NO MORE DOGS ON THE SOFA!
